Dear Editor,
As a
SGI resident, Civic Club member and local Public Health
Physician, I read with interest your brief excellent article
in ‘The Islander’ about the Humane Society’s new “Franklin
County Feral Cat ‘Trap/ Neuter/ Release’ (TNR)” program.
This great Humane and Public Health grass-roots program
needs our support. In addition to clarifying an omission (they
also immunize [3 yr. vaccine.] these cats against rabies),
please add in the next edition that the FCHS welcomes our
tax deductible donations [specify ‘for Feral Cat Project’]
by check payable to: ‘Franklin County Humane Society’ and
mailed to: FCHS, P.O. 417,
Eastpoint , FL 32328 .
Thanks
