The SGI Quilters
average 25 - 30 seasonal and full time island residents.
Meetings are
every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Firehouse Hall.
Quilters generally
make one full size cotton fabric quilt per year
and raffle it off at the Florida
Seafood Festival in November of each year.
Stop on by next

Last year's effort
that netted $3,800 at the Florida Seafood Festival's raffle.
Proceeds go
to the St. George Island Fire Department and First Responder Unit.
The
quilters also donate quilted items for the annual Chili Cookoff's Auction.
Last year's proceeds were $650 and goes to the St. George Island Fire Department
and First Responder Unit.
